Clay has been an associate with the firm since November 2007. Clay’s previous representations include
a wide variety of clients and industries, with an emphasis on the financial services and technology sectors.
Clay represents lenders and borrowers in commercial credit and finance transactions; advises banks, bank holding
companies, and other companies regarding compliance with federal and state banking laws; and provides transactional
assistance for clients over a full range of other intellectual property, corporate, and securities matters, including
contract negotiations, licensing, corporate governance, and regulatory filings and compliance.
Before joining the firm, Clay served as Senior Counsel to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and practiced with
the San Francisco law firm Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin, A Professional Corporation.
