David W. Berry
David Berry is recognized by his peers as one of Sonoma County’s best trial lawyers. He has earned numerous awards and distinctions, including
being selected as one of Northern California’s Rising Stars in the legal community, an honor only a handful of lawyers receive.
Mr. Berry’s practice focuses on resolving business, real estate, and construction defect disputes. He consistently obtains outstanding
results for clients. His courtroom success helps him settle cases on advantageous terms for his clients. He has achieved numerous multi-million
dollar settlements while defending and settling multi-million dollar claims for cents on the dollar.
In addition to serving clients, Mr. Berry is a recognized leader in the Sonoma County community. His business success and leadership led the
North Bay Business Journal twice to recognize him: in its 2010 Who’s Who in Law issue, and in 2008 as one of forty exceptional business leaders
under forty years of age in Sonoma, Marin, and Napa Counties. In 2009, the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce selected Mr. Berry to attend its
year-long Leadership Santa Rosa program, which is a business-minded leadership program he completed.
Mr. Berry serves the community. He was president of Legal Aid of Sonoma County, and a long-term board member. In 2009, he formed the idea for
a Real Property Section of the Sonoma County Bar Association, which he subsequently helped found. He was its inaugural chairman. He has other
broad-ranging community service, including being on the board of the Sonoma County Bar Association, a member of the American Inns of Court, a
member of the Bench/Bar Committee of the Sonoma County Bar Association, and a member of the Santa Rosa Active 20-30 Club, which helps underprivileged
children in our community.
