Matthew R. Lilligren
Matt has been a litigation associate with Abbey, Weitzenberg, Warren & Emery, P.C. since 2006. His practice focuses
on personal injury litigation, employment litigation, complex business litigation, and consumer class actions. Matt has
been the lead attorney on a multitude of cases from the initial filing of the lawsuit through settlement, mediation, arbitration,
and jury trial. He has significant experience in all phases of litigation in both state and federal courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt worked as a judicial extern for Judge Frank C. Damrell, Jr., at the United States District Court,
Eastern District of California and Justice Ronald Robie at the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District. In law school,
he served as the Chief Managing Editor of the McGeorge Law Review and graduated in the top five percent of his law school class.
