About
Kaitlyn Benjamin (Wright) is a litigation attorney dedicated to representing people harmed by others, including cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, child sexual abuse, product liability, auto crashes, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Since her admission to the California bar in 2022, Kaitlyn has tried six cases to verdict.
In 2023, during her first year of practice, Kaitlyn tried her first solo jury trial on behalf of a client who had been sexually assaulted by her chiropractor, securing a $325,000 verdict.
In 2024, Kaitlyn served as second chair in a trial that resulted in a $46 million verdict for a survivor of child sexual abuse, which the California Daily Journal recognized as one of California’s Top 10 Verdicts of 2024.
In 2026, Kaitlyn served as second chair in a jury trial, obtaining a $30 million verdict for injuries caused by a severe auto crash. The verdict is believed to be the largest auto verdict in Sonoma County to date.
Kaitlyn earned her B.A. in English and Communication from the University of California, Davis, and graduated cum laude from Empire College School of Law, where she received both her J.D. and Master of Legal Studies. While in law school, she participated in the Environmental Negotiations Competition in San Francisco and worked in Empire College’s Elder Law and Family Law Clinics.
A fifth-generation Sonoma County native, Kaitlyn was among the final graduating classes of Ursuline High School in Santa Rosa. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and hiking with her dog.
